Goals

Career Objective: Aerospace Engineer

My plan to install solar panels on my roof in Beltsville.

Developmental Goals

If you are planning for a year, sow rice;

if you are planning for a decade, plant trees;

if you are planning for a lifetime, educate people.

- Chinese Proverb

My plan for growth involves educating others through teaching courses, tutoring, and creating videos on recent discoveries and important mathematical methods in physics, astronomy, and coding,

Coding
Scratch is a coding language with a graphical user interface (GUI) that allows you to create digital stories, games and animations. Scratch is specifically designed for young people, but people of all ages create and share with Scratch making it the largest coding community for children.

Below is a game I designed using Scratch.

Another way I learned to code was by creating a game using the GUI in Warcraft III World-Editor software along with JASS (Just Another Scripting Syntax) and vJASS which taught me about object oriented programming with libraries, structs, methods, and global variables versus local variables.

For a good introduction to Python and key concepts in astronomy and physics I have the following small projects to share:

Fitting SN1a magnitude vs redshift data for ΩM and ΩΛ

The Z Boson Width: Data compared to simulation (i.e. Monte Carlo)

Possible Asteroid Impact of Earth

For C, Linux, bash, and cSh I would recommend using Visual Studio along with Windows Subsystem for Linux 2 (if on a Windows machine) for learning to code at the lowest level of a computer's operating system. This allows for code to be run quickly and efficiently using all of the computers processing power which is especially useful in running a very high number of loop iterations like for galaxy simulations.

3D printing,
In the navigation bar I have a link to Wikiversity where I worked on tutorials to instruct on how to 3D print using a MakerBot, and also how to 3D scan objects and make printable files.

Astrophysics

I am most well versed in the subjects of astronomy and physics which can be seen in the projects section.

Philosophy
In the words of:

Einstein:

"A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty."

“Try not to become a man of success. Rather become a man of value.”

“The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existence. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery each day.""

“You never fail until you stop trying.”

“It is not that I'm so smart. But I stay with the questions much longer.”

“I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.”

“The measure of intelligence is the ability to change.”

Bruce Lee:

"As you think, so shall you become."

"To know oneself is to study oneself in action with another person."

"Real living is living for others."

"Take no thought of who is right or wrong or who is better than. Be not for or against."

"Do not pray for an easy life, pray for the strength to endure a difficult one."

"If you love life don't waste time, for time is what life is made up of."

My relative work experience comes mainly from my education due to working and trying to pay my way through school. With my current employer I have been priveledged to visit my dad across country for long periods of time from year to year to help him out with his six huskies since he has two jobs and this past summer had a broken leg. I enjoy my job at the community center helping those in my neighborhood while also having time to study. Lastly, I plan to pursue creating informative videos about space and science which could be a good way to spread knowledge and interest about those topics as well as show my understanding of them to clients/employers.
